The Roof Walkthrough is a series of steps to get you the information you need to make the most informed decision. It starts with a simple walk around the perimeter of the property with you, the homeowner. You know your home best — whether it’s a simple gutter job or a full roof replacement, everything you know helps us get the full picture. Maybe that’s a lot of information, or maybe we find one small detail that leads to the right answer. From there your job is done — unless you’re getting on the roof. That’s our part. We take photos and video if needed and get in the attic as well. Once we are done up there we will sit down together and walk you through everything we found. From here, the facts will lead us to the next step.
The second part of the Roof Walkthrough is the solutions. If you are replacing your gutters or your roof, wouldn’t you want to know all the options available to you?
I remember replacing my garage door years ago — the installer seemed like he only wanted to put in the basic door. We actually wanted windows in it, but it took some back and forth to get what we wanted, and honestly it wasn’t that much more. That is exactly what we don’t want your experience to be.
This is the most beneficial part of the Roof Walkthrough — getting all of your options without having to ask for them. Do you want 5″ gutters installed or the larger 6″ style? Are you ok with the standard Class 3 shingle for hail or do you want to spend a little extra for the Class 4 version? Is repairing the roof the better option compared to replacing it? You make the call. We are confident that if you have all the facts, you will make the best decision for yourself.

From there, we present your options — shingle choices, warranty options, and any upgrades worth considering. No pressure. No sales pitch. Just the facts.
How long does a Roof Walkthrough take?
The Roof Walkthrough is designed to take as much time as needed. Finding a leak will take less time compared to a roof replacement appointment or a storm damage appointment. We are happy to take as much time as needed to review the photos and review the solutions.
What if an issue is found during the Roof Walkthrough?
The Roof Walkthrough was designed to find problems — that is the whole point. It is hard to get on a roof and not find something. The real question is does it need to be addressed now, later, or at all. We will show you exactly what we found and give you every option available. You decide what solution best fits you. That is how we eliminate the stress of the sales process.
If a storm comes through should I schedule a Roof Walkthrough?
The short answer is yes. The interior damage that one damaged shingle can cause is well worth the look. As they say, it is better to be safe than sorry. Not all damage can be seen from the ground and unless you are a trained professional, getting up on the roof is not advised.
How much does a Roof Walkthrough cost?
There is no charge for the Roof Walkthrough. You block off some time to spend with us and we are good with that. Just the facts and we go from there.
