Here’s what that looks like in practice — once the owner is stretched across multiple trades, the roofing crew no longer has supervision. And in roofing, supervision isn’t optional. It’s a tough, physical job, and when nobody is watching, quality control plummets. That’s just human nature. You don’t find out until it rains. By then the company has moved on to the next job and you’re dealing with a leak in your ceiling.
